Oh, but you know CLAMP will be mean to them. -_-
You see, Fai is going to die. I know this because he's my favorite character, and my favorite characters seriously enjoy dying three pages before the book would be over and they'd be scott free! I have proof of this in a long list, but i won't bore you.
So I'm sorry. Fai is going to die, and I'm very sorry, you see, it's my fault.

*Laughs* Well... I want both Kurogane and Fay to live happily ever after, but if Fay has to die, then I want Kurogane to die too. I want them to be together, no matter what.

Anyway, I trust CLAMP, and they said TRC would have a happy ending except for one character... If Fay dies, there's no way the others can have a happy ending, especially Kurogane, since he spent the whole journey trying to make him "live".

I really wish that was true, but it sounds like they're killing someone. Maybe in CLAMP language, a happy ending means Sakura and Syaoran live (but which ones??? They confuse me so much, and they used to be so simple!) But everyone else either dies or earns a place of suffering next to Subaru.
